Salary: Award based salary under Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027] as a Health Professional (level 3); we pay above award rate salaries, with additional increases for endorsements.

Since 2012, we have delivered individual and couple therapy, coaching, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), training, and consultancy services. The Role
Working closely with the Sport & Performance Manager (and one of our Founding Directors) you will manage a team of Sport & Performance Psychologists and Registrars providing psychological services for individuals or couples in a private practice setting.
The Lead works collaboratively to implement strategic initiatives, ensure high clinical standards, and build strong relationships with business clients and works with the team to deliver group and individual psycho-education and performance psychology training, an Athlete Assistance Program (AAP), and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Support: Assess, treat, and refer clients experiencing psychological disorders, adjustment to life events, or enhancement of well-being.
- Team Management: Guide, and support Sport & Performance employee team members from recruitment to professional development.
- Business Development: Work with prospective organisational clients to assess needs and prepare quotes and service agreements. Support the marketing and business team with new sales leads and opportunities.
- Strategic Operations: Create plans and strategies to align service delivery with the business’s strategic objectives, including revenue targets and service expansion.
- Reporting & Management: Develop and deliver reports, manage budgets and resourcing to ensure exceptional program delivery and meet internal targets.
About You
You are an experienced, compassionate professional with a passion for sport and performance psychology and for providing exceptional client-focused care. You value collaboration, continuous learning, and the opportunity to support others in achieving their mental health goals. The ideal candidate will have:
- Expertise: 5+ years experience providing individual psychology services to adults, including assessment, treatment, risk management and referral within a Private Practice in the mental health and wellbeing industry or similar mental health setting.
- Qualifications: AHPRA-registered psychologist with Medicare registration.
- Sport & Performance: 5+ years experience delivering sport & performance services for corporate clients. For example, on-site work with sports teams including players, coaches and management, working with peak bodies and other professional organisations..
- Clinic & Coaching Skills: 5+ years experience developing and/or delivering mental health, wellbeing or performance psychology services in sport and /or high performance environments.
- Team Management & Leadership: 2+ years demonstrated previous team management and leadership experience.
Your knowledge of the sport and performance sector, ability to support and manage a team and strategic vision will help shape our growing business while making a tangible difference in the lives of our clients and staff.
