[On leave until 2025]
Michelle is an experienced clinical psychologist with a deep understanding of attachment, family dynamics and the impact of developmental stressors and trauma. She provides a safe and nonjudgmental space for growth and personal discovery. She has a particular interest in working with people who need support for anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, mood changes, trauma, relationship and interpersonal difficulties.
Michelle has a compassionate style that promotes empowered recovery. Her approach to therapy encourages a deep understanding of self and awareness of patterns of resistance that limit growth and connection. She works collaboratively to incorporate tools to manage life’s challenges and build a connected and profoundly meaningful life.
Michelle draws on evidence-based approaches to support clients, including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, as well as compassionate imagery, mindfulness and somatic based techniques.
