Lisa Cosgun
Lisa is a compassionate, thoughtful psychologist with an engaging interpersonal style. She takes a collaborative and pragmatic approach to therapy, helping her clients to develop insight and seek out solutions based on their strengths and values.
Lisa has worked with clients across the lifespan experiencing a broad range of mental health concerns. She has a keen interest in working with clients navigating through roadblocks or crossroads in their lives, including relationship difficulties (perhaps with oneself, a partner, family, or colleagues).
Based on client needs and preferences, Lisa draws from a range of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys pursuing her years-long mission of hunting down Melbourne’s finest coffee locale (followed by the odd fiercely caffeinated gym session).
