Dr Elizabeth Murdoch

Elizabeth primarily works with athletes (adolescent and adult) to address performance-related concerns, with a particular interest in – performance anxiety, building resilience, navigating student-athlete demands, managing burnout, and disordered eating/body image.
Liz is a friendly, genuine, empathetic psychologist who works collaboratively with clients to ensure they feel understood and empowered to be the best version of themselves. She aims to deliver a holistic, client-centred approach and create a safe space for individuals so that strategies can be developed to achieve peak performance.
Liz recently completed her PhD which explored the development of athlete resilience and individualised coping strategies. Her passion for helping athletes achieve performance and balance stem from her experiences in high-level sport. She continues to be involved in the sporting community by taking part in open water swimming events.
