Dr Connie Kellett
Connie is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 25 years’ experience providing therapeutic interventions. She supports adults, couples and families to manage life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, employment issues, mental illness and disability.
Connie embraces the richness of client differences and individual narratives. She takes a strengths-based, respectful, empowering, non-judgemental, LGTBIQA+ supporting, neurodiverse affirming, evidence-based approach.
Therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic, Feminist and Systems approaches, CBT / ACT mindfulness, couples and family therapy. Connie is a Victorian leader in responding to family violence and disasters and is a continuing researcher at the University of Melbourne.
Outside of work Connie can be found hanging out at the beach, going on very slow jogs, or reading / listening to a good book. Ideally all three at once.
