Brooke Walton
I work with adolescents and young adults, as well as adults and older people. I support educators, allied health professionals and people working in community services, along with those in regional and rural communities. I also have experience working with neurodivergent clients and carers who are supporting a loved one.
What people come to see me for:
- Anxiety and general worry
- Burnout and workplace stress
- Life transitions and adjustment
- Grief and loss
- Carer stress and support
- Depression and mood changes
- Adjustment disorders
- Stress management and psychological safety at work
I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard and understood. I draw on ACT, CBT, interpersonal and psychodynamic approaches, and work in a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming way. Together, we make sense of what’s going on and find practical steps that feel realistic for you.
I’m a Mental Health Social Worker and value honesty, warmth and respect in the therapy room. I care deeply about supporting people through change, especially during stressful or uncertain times.
Outside of work, I recharge by spending time in nature with family and friends.
