Beth Laliberte
Beth is a provisional psychologist in her final year of clinical training at La Trobe University. She recognises the importance of creating a safe and non-judgemental space for clients to facilitate healing and growth, supporting them as they navigate their inner landscape and move towards their version of a meaningful life.
Working across the lifespan, Beth has experience with individuals who have faced trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and a range of other mental health difficulties. Beth integrates a trauma-informed practice and draws on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Over the past decade, she has worked therapeutically in the social services sector across Canada, Australia, and Micronesia. Through this diverse experience, Beth has developed a genuine curiosity, compassion and care for understanding how people move through the world, what touches them, what ails them, and what shapes their sense of self and psychological safety.
