Alex Beaconsfield
Alex is a Psychologist who works with high-performance athletes, performers, and individuals to enhance mental skills and overall well-being. This work often explores the connection between the brain and body, helping clients navigate challenges and develop real-world strategies that support individuals to feel confident, focused, and balanced in their personal and professional lives.
Alex’s areas of interest include performance anxiety, focus, confidence, emotional regulation, injury, pain, and maintaining motivation and overcoming emotional blocks that impact performance. He also works with clients experiencing mental health concerns such as anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, and work-related fatigue.
With experience in working with rowing, basketball, dance, and contemporary artists, Alex works across individual, team, and organisational levels, emphasising key lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, rest, and time management. Drawing on evidence-based frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Alex courtside, on the water, enjoying music, or seeking adventures with friends.
