Dr Jo Mitchell
Coaching Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Director & Co-Founder
Dr Jo Mitchell is the co-founder and director of The Mind Room. As a psychologist, business leader and consultant, Jo has thirty years’ experience working with sport, medical, allied health and creative/cultural organisations and professionals.
Jo’s focus is on empowering business owners, leaders and performers to realise their vision, values and strengths, and not burnout along the way. She is inspired by creative cultural and technological collaborations that create sustainable wellbeing and social change.
Jo is a former Australian representative athlete and still loves running, hiking and mountain biking on kunanyi/Mt Wellington and other outdoor playgrounds worldwide.
Mike Hines
Coaching Psychologist
Mike Hines is a psychologist with over twenty years experience working in music, arts, health, education, technology and corporate industries. Mike works with c-suite professionals and aspiring leaders to help them unlock their best possible self.
Mike guides clients to build a tailored psychological toolkit to be more present, purposeful, resilient and effective in business and in life.
His work as a psychologist follows a successful career as a singer-songwriter and Mike can occasionally still be found in the recording studio.
Greta Bradman
Coaching Psychologist, Founder & Executive, Non-Executive Director
Greta works with founders, leaders, and innovators from high pressure environments including the performing arts, media, tech startup/scale up, venture capital, and professional services. She also has an interest in supporting the performance potential of professional, autistic women.
Greta's coaching focus is on personal and interpersonal dynamics, self care management and values-based decision-making to support wellbeing, culture, and performance.
Alongside her Psych Masters (clinical), Greta has an MBA from Melbourne Business School and her research background and practice includes identifying and activating individual and organisational values.
She is CEO and founder of theCompass.ai, is an ABC broadcaster, and non-executive director (Trustee for Arts Centre Melbourne; Bradman Foundation Co-Chair). She has also worked as an executive in HR tech, and was an award-winning performing and recording artist (Sony, Universal).
Based in Naarm/Melbourne with her teen children, other half, and several furry and scaly family members, Greta consults remotely and from The Mind Room basecamp in Collingwood.
Sean Connaughton
Coaching Psychologist
Sean Connaughton is an executive and performance coach who believes strong relationships make organisations successful.
Sean leans on his passion and capability in relationship building, organisational psychology, and systems thinking to build trust, commitment, and purpose across organisations.
When not at work, you can catch Sean reading in the park, spending time with family, or playing drums in his garage.
Dr Melissa Marot
Coaching & Organisational Psychologist
Mel is a psychologist with over two decades of experience in a diverse range of public, private and not-for-profit workplaces. Her work is influenced by her training in neuroscience and organisational psychology.
Mel understands and relishes the complexities of business leadership, team and individual performance. She works with people in technical and high pressure roles - medical, aviation, legal, technology and finance - to achieve goals, manage stress, navigate change and perform.
Melissa embraces cultural diversity and new experiences in her work life and travelling adventures.
