Our psychology team can assess and diagnose a range of mental health conditions (such as ADHD, anxiety or depression), but only medical doctors can prescribe medication. If medication is being considered, the usual pathway is to take your assessment report to your GP, who may manage treatment directly or refer you to a psychiatrist for medication review and initiation. Our assessment team can help you understand the most appropriate pathway for your situation and what to discuss with your GP.
