We seek an experienced Clinic Lead to oversee our employed psychologists’ day-to-day operations and clinical activities in private practice. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality client care, supports clinician development and upholds clinical standards while maintaining operational efficiency. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this role requires a minimum of 30% of total hours worked to be dedicated to billable client work.
Location: Collingwood, Victoria (Hybrid/telehealth)
Employment Type: Part-Time (4 days) to Full-Time (5 days)
Salary: Award based salary under Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA000027] as a Health Professional Level 3.1-3.5+ above award dependent on experience; We pay above award rate salaries, with additional increases for endorsements.

The Role
As Clinic Lead, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, supervision and service delivery, ensuring that our team provides exceptional psychological services to individuals and couples. At least 30% of your hours must be dedicated to billable client work alongside leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Team Leadership: Provide supervision, mentorship and support to a team of psychologists.
- Recruitment and Retention: Oversee hiring, onboarding and team development
- Service Delivery: Ensure smooth coordination of therapy services for clients
- Risk and Compliance: Maintain high clinical standards and manage risk mitigation
- Operational Support: Work closely with the Clinic Manager to implement strategic initiatives
- Client Support: Maintain a clinical caseload with a minimum of 30% billable hours worked

About You
- AHPRA Registered Psychologist or AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
- 7+ years of experience in private practice or mental health settings
- 3+ years of experience in clinical leadership, supervision or team management
- Strong expertise in assessment, treatment and risk management
- Familiarity with third-wave therapies including ACT, CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR
- Medicare provider number for billing of therapeutic services
Bonus Points For
- Board Board-approved supervisor accreditation
- Experience in trauma, neurodiversity, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) or couples therapy
- Proficiency in practice management software and collaboration tools
