Front of House Team
Zoë Stark
Front of House Coordinator
Zoë’s career began on Australian television as nurse Sheena Wilson on Neighbours and Ukrainian asylum seeker Katya on Blue Heelers back in the noughties. Beyond her acting experience, Zoë’s deep appreciation for the somatic led her to qualify as a shiatsu practitioner and a decade of yoga teaching. Zoë has also enjoyed a fifteen year side hustle facilitating corporate communication and team building programs, and recently spent four years as Front of House and Classroom Manager at The School of Life, Melbourne. Zoë brings extraordinary hosting, her extensive jumpsuit collection, and a passion for a deepening engagement with life to her role as FOH Coordinator at The Mind Room. Outside of work you will find Zoë dancing, gardening, or watching a film, sometimes concurrently, and hanging out with her good friend Colin (the cat).
Zoë Smith
Front of House
From a varied background of fashion, visual merchandising and real estate, Zoë relishes the peace of working from home to help keep the front of house admin tidy and up-to-date. A solo mum to an exuberant toddler, she makes the most of her Yarra neighbourhood to explore the river and parklands. She enjoys baking and there’s plenty of ‘assistance’ and honest feedback on the trays of cake, biscuits, and pretty average sourdough bread. She has spent many hours on the sewing machine, making soft toys to donate to her other role at a children’s charity. Zoë is also growing quite a green thumb from cultivating an indoor plant oasis.
Sarah Allport
Front of House
Sarah brings her love of movement and mindfulness to her role at The Mind Room and is always on hand to welcome all enquiries and our wonderful clientele.
Sam Galagher
Front of House
Sam brings her passion for wellbeing and love of people into her role as part of the Intake and Front of House teams. Whether you see her at the front desk or talk to her over the phone, she is always up for a chat about books, video games or Avatar the Last Airbender. Away from work you’ll see her playing guitar (badly) or at Nova Cinema for her weekly movie ritual.
Amy Bowring
Front of House
An ex-professional ballerina of over 10 years, Amy spent her career dancing across Europe in countries including Germany, Czech Republic, England, and Estonia where she was a principal dancer. Since retiring and returning to Australia, Amy is now undertaking a Bachelor of Arts, majoring psychology and minoring in philosophy, with the hopes to one day specialise in clinical and performance psychology within Australia’s artistic community. When Amy is not working or studying (which is rare!) you can find her in a dance studio or outside listening to a podcast.
Melissa Nemorin
Front of House
Melissa's interest and studies in Holistic Counselling brought her to join the Front of House team. When she's not studying or answering your calls, she can be found running a café in Richmond, painting, at a local gig, or spending time in nature on a (not too steep!) hike.
Alex Beaconsfield
Front of House
Alex combines his background in advertising and customer service with a passion for psychology. Currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology, with a focus on Sport and Exercise. Alex is personable and approachable and enjoys connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. When Alex is not working or studying, you can find him playing basketball and exploring the great outdoors.
